Florida is known for its oranges, beaches, sun and Disney World but it's also the capital of Hurricanes! Being a native of Florida I can remember back to the mid 1970's when I got to experience my first hurricane, Hurricane David.
So every few years we can expect a good blow to come through and mess up the landscape. During his time we board up the home and office, make sure we have water and batteries and we hunker down and wait.
